The Skil-Care Care Like Family Nurse Appreciation Contest celebrates nurses and caregivers who go above and beyond to treat the people in their care like family.

Eligibility

Open to legal residents of the 50 United States and District of Columbia who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Entrants must nominate an eligible healthcare professional or caregiver. Employees of Skil-Care Corporation, its affiliates, and members of their immediate households are not eligible to participate or win.

Promotion Period

Entries must be received between 10/05/2026 12:00am and 11/20/2026 12:00am Eastern Time.

How to Enter

Complete and submit the nomination form on the Skil-Care website during the promotion period. No purchase is necessary. Limit one nomination per person during the promotion period. Duplicate, incomplete, automated, fraudulent, or otherwise invalid entries may be disqualified at Skil-Care's discretion.

Nominee Permission

By submitting a nomination, the entrant confirms that the information provided is accurate to the best of their knowledge and that they have permission to share the nominee's name, facility and nomination story with Skil-Care. Do not submit confidential patient information, resident names, photographs, medical information, or other protected health information.

Winner Selection

Eligible nominations will be reviewed by Skil-Care based on the nominee's demonstrated compassion, dedication and commitment to caring for residents or patients like family. The winning nomination will be selected by Skil-Care following the close of the promotion. Decisions of Skil-Care are final.

Prize

The selected winner will receive one gift card and one Skil-Care Gait Belt. Gift card value: $25.00-50.00. Approximate retail value of the complete prize: $100.00. Prize is non-transferable and no cash substitution will be provided except at Skil-Care's discretion.

Winner Notification

The winner and/or nominator will be contacted using the information provided on the entry form. If the selected winner cannot be reached, does not respond within 3 business days, is determined to be ineligible, or cannot accept the prize under their employer's policies, Skil-Care may select an alternate winner.

Employer Policies

Healthcare professionals are responsible for confirming that accepting a prize is permitted by their employer, facility or organization's policies. Skil-Care may select an alternate winner if a prize cannot legally or ethically be accepted.

Publicity

With the winner's permission, Skil-Care may feature the winner's first name, professional title, facility, city/state and nomination story on its website, social media, email communications and other promotional materials. Any additional permissions required by law will be obtained before publication.

General Conditions

Skil-Care reserves the right to verify eligibility, reject entries that violate these rules, and modify, suspend or cancel the promotion if circumstances beyond its reasonable control affect the integrity or administration of the contest. By participating, entrants agree to abide by these Official Rules and Skil-Care's decisions regarding the promotion.
